Your role
- The Operations Intern will work closely with the Operations Manager and field technicians to support the day-to-day operations of solar energy systems. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the renewable energy industry and contribute to the success of our company.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- -Assist with the implementation of preventive maintenance schedules for solar energy systems.
- -Conduct site visits with field technicians to inspect solar installations and identify potential issues.
- -Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems related to solar inverters, panels, and other system components.
- -Support data collection and analysis efforts to monitor the performance of solar assets and identify opportunities for optimization.
- -Assist in the coordination of service calls and repairs, ensuring timely response and resolution of issues.
- -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes and improve efficiency.
- -Assist in the development of reports and documentation related to O&M activities.
- -Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- -Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- -Strong interest in renewable energy and sustainability.
- -Basic understanding of solar energy systems and components is preferred.
- -Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues.
- -Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- -Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- -Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
